HRH Bernard Couchman began writing professional musical lyrics in the Spring of 2008. By 2013, the songs were burning deep within him, yearning to be released.
His Highness entered the studios to record the music in his soul, converting ideas into mastered songs. This was a lifelong dream turned on to the journey that became a reality. A new artist emerged, BJC. Christmas album, BJC, has garnered respect for his bold belief in Christ. His unique style of communicating his message through music, his pioneering effects in the arts, connects people from all walks of life and in the artist arena. BJC has performed live in Guyana, Canada, USA, and Mexico.
BJC transitioned from street preaching in the hot sun as a youth, on the streets of Linden, Guyana, to preaching on pulpits in Canada, America and Mexico.
The artistic gifts started manifesting in BJC at the tender age of five, even performing alongside his sister, TKD in front of mass audience's.
BJC writes music for Nations Healing and Cultures, with an emphasis on unity, under one sky. Growing up as an elite athlete in a multicultural family, unity in the community keeps him strong and focused.
BJC studied Theology and Business, but his deep musical inclinations was fueled by inspirations from the musical masters along the way. The singer/ songwriter creates musical expressions, his style and delivery is a timeless and unique sound. One gets that true appreciation for creative, historic music when they listen to the sounds of BJC. His music grips your spirit and makes your body come alive and dance. Born in Guyana, BJC now resides in Ottawa, Canada, in the shadows of the Almighty.
